Yes, URLs are people, but I think there's something to humanizing the way that we refer to people online that maps to the offline/real world as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I imagine Facebook will open up a domain-name-like marketplace for vanity/friendly URLs in the future. But it seems like a distraction AFAIC.
